The Whirlpool WMH31017AD offers a modern appearance, large capacity, and good amount of power for a reasonable price. This over-the-range microwave has a 1.7 cubic foot capacity and offers 1000 watts of power on high.
The new microwave over the range works great. Love the way it is designed. It even fit the old bracket on the wall of the past unit. With my neighbors help, it went right into place and was ready to use.
We had the previous Whirlpool microwave for ten years before it began having problems. This one was purchased for the name value and demonstrable efficiency.
we purchased a whirlpool gas range, a French door refrigerator. and this microwave. they all look great together. the microwave works fine. the only negative is that I wish the display panel was lighted. it can be hard to read in low light. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This was a beautiful design that went with my other Maytag appliances. I use it often for thawing foods, warming leftovers and refreshing breads.

Noisy
The microwave does a good job. The hood is not very useful. Steam builds up on the front and then drips down. I would like for the hood to actually pull the steam away from the stovetop. The hood is also very noisy when in use. It is hard to hear anything else that is going on while in use.
This microwave is not only gorgeous but it works so well and was very easy to install!
Have not had time to figure out all the bells and whistles, but seems okay. One problem seems to be the turntable. Seems to be very fussy and problematic. Not sure if it happens only with heavy things or not.
Product is used to cook small items and to re-heat food. I love the space and that it is easy to clean. I would recommend it to family and friends.
