The main reason to buy this mixer was to have XLR output and portability. It has limitations with lower watt speakers or when used with tops only, still figuring out how to resolve this, tried in couple of venues but the audio is not that great when the volume is high which makes it unsuitable for...
I replaced my old and discontinued Berhinger minimix 800 karaoke mixer with this Yamaha MG06X. I'm very satisfied with its digital sound effects especially the reverb. Many karaoke mixers only have echo effect.
I've always liked Yamaha products, and this one delivers the quality and utility that I've come to expect. The mixer is well-built and easy to use. Musical Background: Keyboardist, recording artist and engineer Musical Style: Rock, pop, oldies, jazz
After figuring out how to use this(which didn't take long), I have been having a lot of fun with it. The effects are cool for both guitar and vocals, but I do wish there were more options. For the price, it is definitely worth the buy.
I could recommend this product very nice, handy and easy to setup
It works for what I need, playing 2 keyboards and I'm not a singer. It's perfect for my needs. I like the size too it sits well on top of my keyboard. it can even be smaller and I'll buy another one.
I have used this mixer for two years now as a football/ music announcer. The stadium I use it at is mono. I attach two iPods, a Sennheiser microphone, and Sennheiser HMD-281-13 (Yes, I announce football/basketball/soccer games).
Does everything I wanted. Compact and well made. Music world just got better for me!!
For the size and the price , it is great value , but more importantly what it does is so good . The mix and the effects , very happy I bought it
Compact size and design, but no USB and limited fx selection. If you want to record voice, better off with the upgraded model
