I received my pair of Zeiss Terra Ed Compact Pocket Binocular 10x25 from Optics Planet a few days ago. It looks to be very well made. The Terra ED's produce (subjectively to me) sharper images compared to an older pair of Zeiss compacts I own, using them side by side viewing small fruit blossoms.

These binoculars are clear, bright, and perfect replacements for an older pair of compact Nikons which Ive been using on my backpacking and canoeing trips for the last 10 years. One could spend more on their optics, however given the rigors of my outdoor adventures, the Terras price point is perfect...
I am a avid outdoorsman and rancher and bought the zeiss victory 10 x 25 binoculars last month. I have also wanted a pair but had 4 children had to raise first. They are totally pricey but by far are the greatest binoculars I’ve owned. They are sharp, clear, light weight, reliable.
The image from the 10x25 Terra is excellent. They are super light and small enough to fit in a cargo pocket. BUT - I am very disappointed they have only two positions for eye-relief adjustment.
Excellent optics. Nice compact size. Just what I wanted
Good Points: Light compact and bright viewing with easy focus compensationImprovement Points: Nothing
Good Points: Top quality optics. Great compact and ergonomic design. Good looking and beautifully madeImprovement Points: Expensive but then it's Ziess
Good Points: Excellent hard case.Improvement Points: Wish they came with lens covers
Fantastic pair of compact binoculars. I'm glad that I chose the 10x as they image is really big and clear. Finding subjects through the binoculars is easy as they are so light with a bright image. They are well made and feel solid but with the benefit of being compact.
Bought as a Christmas present, so has not been used much at the moment. Great for bird watching, good focus and really light weight which means they can be carried in pocket and used in combination with a camera and long lens.
