Needed a second pair of binoculars to keep in the car so purchased this pair.Easy size to handle, clear images and got used to them really quickly.First day out with them and very fortunate to see an abundance of wildlife including red squirrel, sparrow-hawk and White tailed eagles.

Despite being "full size" binoculars the Zeiss Terras 8x42s are compact are pretty compact, and offer very good optics. I preferred the Zeiss Terra to binoculars in a higher price range. They are relatively lightweight, give bright sharp viewing, and are a joy to use.
Great binos for 350EUR, though obviously lacking the clarity of the 7-800EUR ones made with authentic Carl Zeiss-manufactured lenses.
Beware of Zeiss binoculars. I paid over £1,000 for a pair (not his particular number) for my birdwatching husband. He has had to send them back twice and the problem has not been resolved. Really upset as this was a once in a lifetime purchase and Zeiss have shown no real intent to put things right.
Very disappointed with quality, I was thinking at this price I was buying quality binoculars, first thing I noticed after going out with them I had lost the tripod attachment cap, I guessed it may have been slightly unscrewed and worked it's way off, then after a week I noticed the left hand...
Very pleased with the product
I bought these binos for my wife for bird watching and she is very pleased with them. We was both very impressed with the small amount of adjustment needed to focus from a few feet to infinity and they are very clear and bright even at in low light.
Very happy with my first Zeiss binoculars. Previously thought it was a wast of money buying an expensive pair of binoculars when there are so many cheaper ones on offer. I now realise how wrong I was, you can feel the quality of the product as you pick them up & am very happy with the image quality.
I can see clearly at last! Not too heavy, they fit in my kagoule pocket and are clear as crystal.
