Zhiyun-tech Smooth-Q4 Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer

A few weeks ago I bought SMOOTH 4 (white version) and I have to say I love it!! Paired my iPhone, SMOOTH 4 works very well. One feature I would like to highlight is Vertigo shot. I thought it is difficult to realize even with the gadget but it turns out amazing!!

I was so excited to buy smooth 4, but now im thinking return it if they do not upgrade their Android app. All the features this smooth 4 has only works with apple, not with android. I'm very disappointed!... do not buy this item if you are Android user.

This Gimbal is excellent compared to the LanParte hhg-01 which i used to have. With that being said i sold that one for the new zhiyun smooth 4 and all its new app features that at the moment are not fully functional for Android users (note 8)so all the good press you see comes from iPhone user's...

Okay so as far as gimbals for phones go this is the only one Id consider.functions incredible with filmicpro and the controls and buttons I have yet to see on another gimbal. When you power it up you pretty much dont have to touch the screen on the phone for anything else.

Been almost 2 weeks using the smooth 4. There are some things I do not like and one is a lack of a joy stick. Another is some of the features are not operational yet. I will do a follow up after the firmwares. The footage Looks smooth. Im using a iPhone 6plus and it balances no problem .

Bought after a very extensive search and review. And am having a great time with the simple functionality and ease to use. Have elevated my videos even as a beginner videographer. Where I work as AV manager at a casino.

I ordered both the Smooth-4 and the DJI Osmos Mobile 2 for comparison. I sold the Osmos. Not that it's a bad smartphone gimbal. It's just that the Smooth-4 works better all around. It is better thought out. And having the wheel on it gives more functionality when needed.

The Google XL. when balanced, the clamp covers the on/off and volume controls.The LG phone has a curved back preventing a secure attachment.The LG phone could not establish a blue tooth connection, version 6 Android OS

I have only shot 3 times with this Zhiyun-Tech Smooth-4, combined with my Galaxy S8. So, I will update this review in the Spring. Overall,Zhiyun hit a solid triple (not a home run) with this device.
