In many ways, the Zoom Q8n-4K feels like a great, affordable audio recorder with bonus video features. So, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly camera that prioritizes audio and has some type of video recording capabilities, the Zoom Q8n-4K may be your camera.
This camera has been a blast to use! The sound and video are excellent! The quality of this camera is great! I would really recommend anyone doing videos or video blogs should invest in this camera. Definitely worth the money. It's easy to use and setup is very simple.
My title might be a bit click-bait-ish but what I mean is that don't expect this to be a movie camera with a great audio recorder, think of it as a great audio recorder with a mediocre camera on it.I originally got this camera to use as a B-roll camera for a horror film I was producing.
Ive been trying for several years to get good musical videos on You Tube. Never had anything that satisfied me. Then I got the Zoom q8 with the optional Omnidirectional mic.I finally have videos im not ashamed of. Great video and audio.
Yes. Perfect for what I was looking for. Only draw back is rather zoom button vs in out on screen. Hard to use in sunlight. Really lije volume adjustment for music recording.
Great quality camera that is easy to use right out of the box. The on-board microphones sound great, though I haven't used any outboard microphones yet. I imagine that will be even better. I am an amateur musician, but I love to travel and cannot wait to bring this on my next international journey.
The camera does what it is supposed to do which is awesome. When it comes to manufacturing of this thing, it's not that great.I've owned two of these now and the second one just met the garbage can.Zoom sent me a new one (my second one) because of the audio port breaking. So on my second one, the...
I've used a Zoom H4 audio recorder for years (have a couple of them). It's durable, dependable and most importantly is one of the few portable digital recorders that offers XLR inputs for better quality mics. It's that reason I was so excited about the Q8.
Sucks in low light just like the Q4n does. I thought this cam would be better after returning the Q4n but no. The Canon Vixia MiniX has MUCH better video and is way better in low light. The software interface feels clunky. No loop for the rubber lens cap. Again Canon has one built in.
Works very well! I’m a band director and this is the perfect device for recording my groups without a bunch of hassle. The built in Mic capsule has a very low noise floor and really doesn’t pick up a tone of extra noise, especially in my room at work.
I can’t express how disappointed I am with this camera. It's been on my wishlist for over a year and I finally purchased it with a few other items using one of zZounds amazing payment plans. The first thing I noticed when I started filming was how grainy and soft the video was.
