Viewers will put up with the occasional skippy frame, shaky image or even the odd out of focus, but lousy or stuttery or out of sync audio will never be tolerated and people will turn off.
I wasn't expecting much out of this mic only because most mics are pretty pricey. I was somewhat astonished to hear the quality and how well the wireless part of t worked. No static noises or anything that gives the impression that this is one of the most inexpensive mics with a high quality sound.
The lav set is good and sounds good. The only negative I have about it is signal level. The output level from the mini jack supplied is a little low. But the workaround it is too simple to pass up the device.
This my 3rd lavalier mic. This works pretty well for me. I was able to produce 4 videos with quality Audio. I have not loss any audio. This system is great for beginners. I gave it 4 stars, because there is no volume control. You have to turn the audio up on the device that you are using.
It's pretty good for a consumer level product and was used to record videos with a Sony video camera. Make sure you don't accidentally insert the 9V battery oriented incorrectly (positive/negative).
I've used it for year for my video camera. Now I've started using it with my DSLR and smartphone video recording. Does an awesome job... lightweight..portable..regular 9v battery...headphone out. Best value for the money.
Exactly what was needed for quick and controlled audio capture. Have shared product info with a colleague. Note: this does not take the place of audio pros, but works great in a pinch with a mobile device or tablet.
Great for a low to mid budget production.
The product seems to work adequately but it is poorly constructed. The belt clips feel like they will break off the first time someone uses them.
it only gives mono signal not stereo, even if you use stereo adapters
I use the product to film my video tutorial series about Geocaching. We utilize up to two microphones which feed to either my zoom recorder or the HD camcorder. They work as expected with no real setup to speak with. The sound is more than acceptable again for the price you are paying.
