Bosch 500 Series 30 Inch Wall Mount Convertible Hood

My previous hood was 1950's era (I think). It did very little and was a pain to clean. In comparison, this new hood is a dream. I love that I can put the screens in the dishwasher. On full power this hood is noisy but does a great job of taking smoke, moisture and grease out of the air.

The fan works very well. My only criticisum is that I would have liked to have been able to use the hood lighting from time to time as a night light. Unfortunately, we can't because if the lights are on for any long length of time the hood becomes extremely hot.

My husband and I purchased this chimney hood when we had our kitchen remodeled. It's looks amazing in the kitchen. The led light bulb is a definite plus! My only complaint is if you select any setting other than low, it is difficult to hold a conversation without shouting.

Moderately easy to install. Functionally a five star product; LED w two levels really helps the cooking task and the vent is efficient as well. Sound levels are like most Hoods so don't expect a wisper.

To start, the hood was easy to install and was adjustable to what is considered a low ceiling in today's kitchens! It's classy and from a style perspective fits right in. The fan is quiet and the lights are bright...a total bonus!

Unit was easy to mount. Great lighting and fan speeds.

Excellent hood. It is beautiful. The light is stunning and shows the cooking experience perfectly. We totally love this hood.

We loved the unit. it was the first to arrive in a long wait time for the appliances. even though it was installed 11/30/21 we couldnt use it until 2/24/22 when the oven finally arrived. unfortunately the range worked 3 times & quit.

It really steps up to move air and you know it.
