It doesn't make sense placing the lights in the back. In 2020 you are still using old ultra low energy efficiency halogen lights, they produces hot, they are expensive and the waste a lot of energy compare with led technology.

I bought a 36 inch unit to cover a 30 inch range because I wanted it to look a little more substantial and it would inherently do a better job capturing the exhaust from cooking. It's a little loud on high, but when I'm cooking on that level, I can't say it bothers me.

Reinstalling filter grills requires a short learning curve but they are easy to remove for cleaning. Three light levels are just right.

The dimensions of this product states it is 35 1/4 inches wide. It is actually 35 15/16 inches wide. We had to take down some cabinets molding because the hood size is not what it says it is. It also states that it is stainless steel. I thought if magnets stick to it, then it is not stainless.

when the halogen lights started turning off when the button is still depressed. Is a nuisance while I am cooking.

Very nice hood looks great and works great. Focal point in kitchen. Tiled all the way to ceiling behind chimney. Really looks nice.

this might be a duplicate ... great looking vent hood (different look than the one we installed in a different location). The glass canopy give a nice open look and makes the vent pipe look a little less obnoxious.
