Ticket to Ride: Europe builds on the success of Ticket to Ride . It offers a more challenging and thoughtful game by introducing a densely-packed map and the game mechanics to support it. It is worth picking up if you love the original game and are looking for a new challenge.
My 5 year old has seen us play real ticket to ride and has been dying to play. We modified the rules to make it easier, and go faster, at first. We dealt more cards and played with them face up so we could help with strategy. She caught onto the strategy and can play on her own now.
This is much like the other Ticket to Ride games but better. Like all the games, when first reading the instructions, it looks difficult. But, as you start to play, it all makes sense. A great family game. Right when you think you know who is going to win...you might be surprised!
This game is superb for a variety of ages. It is easy to learn and fun to build the routes. Your family just might learn some geography along the way. When my husband and I want to play a shorter game, we choose two or three points and then race to see who can complete the route first.
My 3 yr old does like game play much but he loves the train. My 8 yr old is obsessed with this game, the rules are simple and there’s a lot of way to win, the whole game after you get the hang of it is only about half an hour, every one is familiar with rules after just one game, great fun for adult...
Ticket to Ride is amazing. It's a fast simple game you can learn while playing it. I won my first game on the first time playing... and haven't won since. But it's still fun. Really one of the best things for kids because video games are too violent and anti-social.
Buy this game. Seriously. It is so much fun. This was my first Ticket to Ride game so it took one whole game of figuring it out. But now it's a breeze. Each game is different since there are so many combinations of routes. I have become a master at playing this.
I was surprised just how much the adults would like this game too! I have never played the regular version but have heard good things so I had high hopes for this one. Took my six year old a couple rounds to get it on his own but now is able to play without assistance. Such a fun game!
I love this game. It's actually 2 games since you have different maps on each side of the board so it's well worth the money. My family of 5 has been playing it a lot during the quarantine time and it never gets old. Highly recommended for a night of family fun!
We have played this game with players ranging from 14 to 80 and it’s become one of our favorites! A game can last 25-45 minutes and the complexity can be adjusted by including or not certain items.
Such a fun game! My 5 and 4 year old enjoy playing this game as well as myself and my husband. While my 4 year old doesn’t get the strategy portion of the game, my 5 year old does quite well at it! We ended up playing the game 6 times in the first two days because we all liked it so much!
