The premium wide-angle lens designed to maximize the performance of the Fujifilm X-Trans CMOS sensor for the highest picture quality. With a focal length equivalent to 35mm*, the lens is suitable for a wide range of applications including portraits and landscapes as well as more general photography.
This wide angle lens for Fuji X series interchangeable lens cameras provides a field of view equivalent to a 35mm lens on a 35mm camera, sports a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture and costs around £780.
With a very even and impressive performance, weather resistance, great handling and high-quality finish it would be hard not to like this Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 R WR lens. The Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 R WR is an ideal standard lens for the range of Fujifilm cameras.

High-quality manufacture, Superb image quality throughout, Fast and silent operation, Convenient aperture ring choice, Weather resistance

Only in Fujifilm fitting, Lens hood provided is screw fit
The Fujifilm XF 35mm F2 R WR offers a classic standard focal length, fast maximum aperture and weather-proofing in a small, discrete package, making it well-suited to street, reportage and low-light photography in any conditions when paired with a similarly weather-proof body.
The Fujinon XF 23mm f/1.4 R is a highly attractive addition to the Fujifilm lens lineup. It combines an ultra-large aperture with high quality results. At large aperture settings the center quality is already pretty high whereas the borders/corners are at least on a good level.
The Fujinon XF 23 mm f/1.4 R, tested here by us, must get a really positive assessment. Still the situation is hardly so rosy if you start comparing the price of that lens to the prices of its rivals.

Sporting the same field of view as a 35mm lens does on a 35mm camera, this lens should be a popular choice for the wish list of many Fuji X-series camera owners, especially with that fast f/1.4 maximum aperture.

Extremely sharp stopped down, Very good sharpness in the centre at maximum aperture, Lightweight, Useful hyperfocal scale, Excellent build

Not as sharp towards the edges of the frame at maximum aperture as you may expect
The Fujifilm XF 23mm F1.4 R offers a classic focal length and an ultra-fast aperture, making it well-suited to street and reportage photography. Optically it's also a great lens in its own right, with virtually nothing to complain about apart from the price.
Often, crop-sensor systems are treated as amateur equipment, and they arrive at our doorstep with components of less-than-stellar quality. Too often, this corner-cutting includes lenses of mediocre optical and build quality (budget-priced Nikkor and Canon APSC lenses come to mind) compared to...
Awesome lens, very quite, sharp as a tack, why haven't you bought it yet?
The lens is light, and even though the focal length is duplicated in the 18-55 zoom, it's nice to have for going lighter and smaller, and for letting in more light.
A joy to use which adds very little weight to the camera body. Pin sharp from f2 up and super fast autofocus though manual focus is also excellent. Colour rendition and contrast what one would expect from Fuji.

Great Picture Quality, Lightweight, Simple Controls
I'm an amateur all the way, but read all the reviews and bought this one and I'm really pleased with it. I had looked at the more expensive one that was $599, but decided to try the less expensive model. So far so good and I love the retro Silver!
This is as easy to shoot as any lens and gives a great result. I like the manual focus ring, after getting used to moving it in and out. The auto focus seems just fine too. As with any lens on my X-T2, I appreciate having the aperture ring rather than going into menus or pushing buttons.
This lens blew me away. I am an amateur photography covering urban photography and portraits in all different types of lighting and scenery and this lens has gotten me through it all. The clarity is far beyond par, and the depth of field has superb.
