GE 30 Inch Over the Range 1.6 cu. ft. Capacity Microwave Oven

The micro runs well. The only problem is that if the kitchen is dark the touch controls are not visible like they were on the one replaced. Also you need to push rather hard to get a response. You’d think that the updated appliance would be better than the one you replaced.

Very happy with the purchase of this over the range microwave. It fits perfectly and fits all our needs, we use it all the time. Easy to use and easy to wipe clean. And we were so thankful to find it in stock.

Our microwave was getting old and had some glitches so we decided to make a switch and purchase this new GE over the range microwave. This microwave works much better than our old unit. The wattage power is satisfactory as well as excellent CFM in its venting system and its multiple power levels.

The only thing I don't like is that the vent automatically comes on when using it and it's really loud. Other than that, it works fine.

I've had this microwave for a week and it does perform well. I liked the price and appearance. The only drawback is that the fan is a little loud when in operation than my Amana was.

Its easy to operate and does a good job. No complain.

I hate to admit it but this is my third GE microwave in 10 years. I have had to stick with this brand because all of my other appliances are GE so I need the Match. Also I'm not handy so I wanted a direct replacement. The first 2 were expensive profile models.

Decent microwave, fairly quiet, works well. Keep in mind that this machine does not have lighted buttons. I should have paid more attention to the details and am regretting it now. It's actually rather difficult to see the buttons unless you are in a well lighted room.

The logic of the controls is different than our previous GE model so that takes some getting used to but it is fine. More options than what it replaced and we like it being more tailored to our use with these options. We had it installed by Home Depot contractor and it was well worth it.

This unit was to replace an older Spacesaver that was 14 yrs. old the new is much less robust. The whole unit seems cheaper and less well constructed, also the template to drill the upper mounting holes did not match the new units mounting holes
