GE Profile 24" White 1.1 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave - ADA Compliant

I am very disappointed in this GE microwave. This replacement unit is not nearly the quality of the previous unit. The door opening mechanism and keyboard are loud and clunky instead of the smooth operation of the previous unit. I purchased this unit with a phone call to the local dealer.

My second model PEM31DF - first one lasted 8 years - this one is not the same quality - the door doesn't open properly- it sticks & you must push the door button again - other wise great features & simple to use - hope it lasts as long & the door works better after a bit of break-in time

I had this same model, and my spouse killed it by burning a non-microwavable food in it. Got the same model because I was happy with it. The only difference I've found is that that the digital display is a much brighter white - a big advantage.

This is a great low-medium power microwave (800 Watt output) which I needed just to heat up leftovers and small dishes, which does the job well. I live in a small apartment and I can't have a high-current drawing appliance in my kitchenette because it will trip the 15 Amp circuit breaker.

This is our second microwave of its kind. First one lasted 16 years. We mounted it under the cabinet saving countertop space. The low profile is just right size opposed to larger ones taking up space you could use. We don’t use it to cook turkey size food and 98% of the time most won’t.

I bought this micro to replace the same model which lasted only 5 years. Had to call for replacement due to control panel malfunction. This one seems ok but measured opening after deinstall so next time hopefully can buy a different brand.

It's the only microwave that I could find to fit my space. It is essentially the same GE as the one I replaced but it seems a bit cheaper in construction. The buttons are not very sensitive. I have to push hard on them. With all of the complaining aside, it works well and I'm content.

This is a basic small microwave that can be attached under a cabinet to keep off of the counter. It has all the features we need and works like a charm. I've only had this one about 2 months but I had one in my last house for 15 years and it was working great when we sold the house.
