The Garmin Vivoactive 4 is a solid upgrade to the Vivoactive 3 and 3 Music, and will certainly please those in need of a midrange multisport watch. It's not as flashy as the new Garmin Venu, but that might be a good thing: It has a more readable display and longer battery life.

Garmin Pay support is convenient Music storage is standard Week-long battery life Unique breathwork exercises Accurate fitness and health tracking Useful and accurate sleep tracking

High price
The Garmin Vivoactive 4 is another great sports-focused smartwatch that you’re going to struggle to find something better for the price. While smartwatch features have largely stayed the same as its predecessor, there’s even more going on on the health and fitness front.

Great screen, Animated workouts are a nice addition, Crammed with features
Overall the Vivoactive 4 is a solid upgrade over the Vivoactive 3, if for no other reason than the darn second button. Plus of course the music in all models and the other health bits. But really, that button.
While the Apple Watch dominates the smartwatch market and there is really no other competitor, there are plenty of options for those looking for wearables that provide more advanced health tracking and exercise features.

+
Advanced health tracking features, High quality materials, fit, and finish, Responsive touchscreen interface, Offline music and Garmin Pay support, Extensive golfing support

-
Heavier than the 245 Music, Display a bit dim for indoor use
The Garmin Vivoactive 4 puts the tech smarts of the watches used by the ultra-marathon-running elite into a more accessible wearable. You may not get all the pro-style advice of a Forerunner, but you do get the rest.
-
+
Great exercise tracking, with full GPS, On-watch music streaming, Stacks of stats
-
-
ANT+ HR broadcast mode does not work well yet, No Performance Condition/training load monitoring, Spotify/Deezer integration should be more friendly
More an exercise in refinement than revolution but the Vivoactive 4 does enough to become our new favourite fitness-orientated smartwatch

+
Excellent fitness tracking features, Attractive design and easy-to-read display, Good price

Lacks in-depth running analysis, New features don’t add a great deal
The Vivoactive 4 is the latest smartwatch-come-fitness tracker from Garmin. It aims to take on the Apple Watch Series 3 and Fitbit Ionic by offering a diverse portfolio of health tracking services, including freshly added support for Yoga and breathing plus a few other surprises.

Can track pretty much every sport you can think of, Looks like an actual watch, Solid battery life, New wellness features work great

More expensive than the competition, App offering could be better
Found the initial setting up left a lot to be desired. It seems to add items most days thus far after approx 2 weeks of ownership can’t otherwise fault it
I bought this watch as an avid sportsperson who required an update from their previous watch without spending too much on features I wouldn't necessarily use. I train twice a day, 5-6 days a week which encompasses sprinting, longer distance runs and a myriad of weight-training exercises.
Easy to use does what it says on the box
I bought a $500+ Garmin watch for my stepdaughter's 18th Birthday. Knowing that I was purchasing it through a reputable company like Myers left me no hesitation or doubt on top of the notch service efficiency and delivery of product. I also loved the option of gift card and wrapping options.
Does everything you could want as a sports watch - Garmin functionality spot on.
Brilliant watch for anyone whose involved in fitness or outdoor activity
An outstanding product. Wide range of functions and features. Host of sports and activity options from indoor to outdoor, land to water! Even comes with music option!
Changing from a Fitbit after 5 years has been so easy with this. Better and more accurate tracking, rep counter and even measures your stress!
I bought this for a birthday present for my partner and he said it was the best watch I have ever bought him it does everything he wanted
