I have the Flashpoint version of this. Flashpoint and Godox are the same thing. It works very well in conjunction with my Godox v860II and Godox X1T-N transmitter. Recycle time is a bit longer at higher power than my 860, but the 860 is also running on a lithium ion battery and this runs on 4 AAs.
I just needed a manual flash to fill in, but having the flashpoint Xplor AD600 TTL and the transmitter, it open a lot of different possibilities to do and create and able to control everything on the tip of your camera. The flash provides great power and the recycling time is fast.
I bought this along with a TT 685 for use in quick strobist style environmental portraits. I am very pleased with the TT600, the controls are quick and intuitive and the power setting readout is very legible. High quality construction and excellent value.
I decided to go with a Godox after several purchases (and disappointments) of another manufacturer. I already owned a Godox AD200 and have been happy with it and figured the TT600 might be a good option. I've been very impressed with it so far after about 3 weeks of use.
For the money, I am completely satisfied. I use this on photo shoots for real estate along with four other strobes. Fires properly every time and very good batter life with the Nmih chargeable batteries.
Great product, haven’t used it much, the magnetic attachments makes life easier during the shoot
Overheated extremely fast too hard to spin the flash head. I wish I could return it.
both Completely stopped working 6 months after buy. e1 error code. Save your money and get something else.
Im not a pro, and this is my second flash. I used a Bower SFD728 before (guide number 92), and thas was a cheap made flash compared to this one. I sold it because it was not useful to me. Never got decent night shots.
