This is a great full function flash. Ive used if on both Panasonic and Olympus MFT.Works well with the x-pro trigger from Godox too.The swivel head can be stiff - saw a suggestion of using WD40 in it to loosen. This does work well - just use very sparingly or you will have a lot to wipe off!
I am a retired news photographer trying to keep a hand in the profession I still love. I keep things simple when I can. My new GODOX TT685 is doing all I ask of it, as a primary camera-mounted flash in TTL mode.
This was "a pig in a poke" since the only flashes I've ever used were Canon. I wanted one for my E-M1 Mk II, but didn't feel like paying the price for an Olympus one. I've only tested with it so far, but it seems to be doing the job nicely.
I bought for use with my Lumix DMC FZ300. It does the job for this non-professional photographer. Build and design is a lot like my Nikon SB900 and SB800 flashes. However, there are a few drawbacks to the unit:1) The shoe attachment plate is hard to properly position on camera;2) The locking...
The price of the Godox line of flashes is very good. In the hand, you realize they are very solid units. Excellent screen displays and control layouts. More powerful than the Canon 600EX based on guide number.
It was better than I expected and am happy with my purchase
If you need a flash... here it is! If you get anything else, youre paying too much and not getting the quality.
This flash has two problems. First it is supposed to be compatible with the Olympus E-M! II, but it does not actually integrate with the OM-1s built in flash program. Yes it will trigger the flash but all the settings have to be entered via the X1T-o trigger.
Works great right out of the box on my LUMIX FZ300. It adjusts automatically for zoom up to 200mm. A wonderful flash.
This is a great speedlite for my Lumix camera. Its reliable and there have been no surprises--it works as expected.
