I have never written a review for anything before, but I’ve always said I would for this speaker so I’m finally getting around to it. I bought the JBL Charge 3 a long time ago when it first came out. I didn’t know what to expect, but I have been absolutely blown away.

I owned the charge 3 before and absolutely loved it. Buying the charge 5 was an easy upgrade. It's loud, durable, and has great battery life. Because it is very directional in how the sound is put out it allows you to enjoy clear loud music without being a nuisance to others.

I got this a few weeks ago and I love it. The sound is deep and clear. Right now I'm using it in the kitchen while washing dishes but it's going outside as soon as it gets warm. Its not too bulky and the box it arrived in has a magnetic closure to keep it secure.This is a totally worth it speaker!

We've had the JBL Charge 5 for a couple of months now and it is very versatile. For a unit this size the sound is excellent. Good for outdoor spaces with small groups. Easy to throw in a beach bag or or kayak hatch. If you need deep, thumping bass, go for the Boombox.

I bought this speaker 2 weeks ago and the sound is great the vocals are amazing the voice sounds so crystal clear and its extremely loud. Only things i dislike is bass sounds great when speaker playing medium to low in volume because when volume all the way up not so much bass at all and im a huge...

This charge 5 is a beast! Can't wait to buy another one for some paired action

I am amazed at how great the sound is! My kids love to see the side "!" marks boom with the music. The fact that I can charge my phone from this speaker is a total bonus, making this speaker so useful. Overall I am so pleased with how great my music sounds and the quality of this speaker.

DESIGN: This is a superior design compared to the previous models of the Charge series. It's shaped perfectly so that the sound disperses favorably regardless of positioning (vertical/horizontal). This is also simply a more aesthetically pleasing design with the subtle orange on black.

Replaced my 4 which fell two stories to its end :(Fun design. Sound and range seem a little more robust than the 4. Overall pleased
