The JBL Clip 4 is a portable Bluetooth speaker for the masses, and it makes some very important improvements over the popular Clip 3, namely the improved carabiner system and sound quality. JBL added USB-C charging to the Clip 4 and nixed the headphone jack, so no wired playback here.

I needed something compact to travel and that would just fit in my bag. After hrs of sound editing in my hotel room, I took it down to the pool and after 3 days of doing the same, it was still playing. I've always trusted the bigger units but this is a game-changer. Great quality, built, and sound!

Easy to use, it set up in seconds. For such a small portable speaker it sure has great sound and gets pretty loud if you want. Love that it is waterproof, perfect for clipping to my saddle for rocking good times on the trail! My horse loves the music too! Will be testing out its durability for sure.

Love my Extreme2 but needed something smaller & lighter to take to the beach. The Clip 4 is perfect. Packs a huge punch for such a small BT speaker. Bass is deep and treble & midrange are very crisp & clear. The weight is great too - it weights very little.

I absolutely LOVE the JBL Clip 4!! The design is compact and light, but the sound quality is absolutely amazing. All genres of music sound amazing on this! The amount of bass that comes out of the Clip 4 is truly impressive!

Sound is great. Battery is fairly good. The buttons press very easily if you accidentally bump them against something though and I frequently pause, turn it off, and change the volume unintentionally wearing it on my belt loop while working.

I really want to love this speaker. But the start-up and shut-down sound effect is loud and extremely annoying to me. Looking around online it seems there is no way to disable this sound effect.

I’ve had the clip 4 for a few days now and we really like it. We listened to 6 hours of music the first day without even charging it. We used it that day Instead of our flip 3 that we normally use and I really think it sounded every bit just as good.

I replaced a Clip 2 (which I liked a lot) with this Clip 4. I love the play/pause button on this speaker because I can pause it right on the speaker if I need to use my work phone without needing to have my cell on me to pause it. I like that it is oval because it fits in my shirt pocket nicely.

Nice improvement over the Clip 3 and sounds great for the size and the clip is really good, overall I like it and if you're on the fence buy it.I didn't give it a 5 because the buttons on the side need to be recessed like the Clip 3 or need to be harder to press people are always hitting the...

This is a fantastic speaker. I use it when mowing the lawn, and I hear everything clearly over the lawnmower noise. Formerly I used earhead buds but they bothered me not only when mowing but it felt like I still had them in my ears for several days.
