Downmixes Atmos content.
I recently bought a BAR 500. I have mixed feelings about it. It does have good sound in general, however the volume level adjustment seems to be inconsistent and the EQ they spoke of is very minimal hardly worth making the claim that it even has EQ on it.
Upgraded from a Polk and holy %#^! What a difference. This, on sale, is a steal for what you get. Crazy amounts of bass, not sound bar quality bass but legit home theater bass. Sweet soundstage with audible separation that makes the whole thing just more enjoyable. Feel good hit of the summer.

Janky setup but manageable.
Superb Sound quality with thunderous bass! Pros: just about everything... except two tiny cons: ONE- PureVoice feature is not a definite on or off feature (you can turn it off, but it'll be back on after a power cycle) I know this is by design, but I hope they change it in a future firmware update.

Wifi connection may take a few minutes, but it's worth it. No major complaints at all. Good product.

Horrible.Can’t even set up in JBL Bar Setup app as it’s stuck searching for product.
Great sound really clear. Connected to TV with HDMI, setup was really easy. Connected to WiFi. Android JBL app was easy to use. Can't see it in Spotify devices though. Haven't tried Bluetooth yet.
