It would be a steal at twice this price. Sharp optics, big sweet spot, great eye relief for glasses wearers and good light-gathering capacity. I own more expensive binoculars, but these are the ones I pick up the most often for birds and wildlife in the yard, dog walks and hikes.
after hearing good things about this binocular I decided to give it a go and the first thing that came to mind is how good optically the view is. bright, clear and a wide field of view this compares very close to my kowa bd 8x32.
6x30 is a military binoculars chosen because it has a very wide field of view 8 degrees. This is what your tank commander carried. These binoculars besides having a wide field of view also has very good close focusing ability.
I own several optical devices, 7x50 binocular, and two spotting scopes (compact and full size) and I wanted to have something compact that can be slipped into pocket. First of all, this is not pocket binocular, it is more like mid-size.
Very good for the price not much different from my 8x42s very clear bright image and the eye pieces so easy to adjust
Visually these have Steiner clarity. They just do. I was stunned as how clear these are for under $100. And they focus as crisply as my several pairs of Steiner's, and a pair of Zeiss I have, etc.. Also, compact, lightweight and well built. Kowa should turn these out in OD Green and Desert Tan.
Superb for the money. A much brighter and sharper image than I was expecting at that price. Buy with confidence.
I was looking into a second pair of birding binoculars because my partner is a petite person, with rather close-set eyes. The minimum interpupillary setting on my Nikon Monarch 5 binoculars is just a little too wide for her face and eyes.
Exellent buy. Light, wide field of view cristal, clear lenses, very little image tremour due to the 6x. As for this nonsence about loose lense covers, mine are fine and flip off with a slight touch, When in use the covers are in the well padded case, eventually I discarded them as I am not aware of...
I must say first, I'm no expert on binoculars! I needed a pair primarily for bird watching while out walking. I thought about getting compacts but decided this size might be easier to use while still being lightweight. They're very good.
