LG 36 Inch French Door Refrigerator

We bought the French door model Model LMXS28626S/02 in December or 2019 and we started having problems with it in early July 2024. LG is known to have serious compressor problems and we decided to buy a new refrigerator, different brand, as we just didn't want the unknown factor in our lives.

Our last refrigerator lasted 16 years and it was a side by side. We had been wanting a French door refrigerator but werent sure about issues we had heard about with the ice maker in the door. After talking with our salesman and a repair man we decided on this LG refrigerator.

Our 9-year old Kenmore Elite Fridge broke and this was a direct replacement. Love the design of french doors for the fridge and two lower drawers that are both freezers. Other than a few minor nuances, this is the exact fridge that we had before and have been happy so far.

Have only had for a week. My wife loves how much more room she has to organize each shelf. The refrigerator is very quite. Only hear the ice maker once in awhile. The 2 freezer drawers are nice also lots of room to put things. The crew did a great job installing.

The LG Refrigerator is in my kitchen and is quite large and I like it but not love. One of the doors slams upon closing and is quite annoying. The fridge has a lot of interior space but even though the filter has been install and the water run through it as required the water taste funny.

We have had the LG refrigerator for about a month, and are very happy with it! It's so quiet! Like that the ice maker is in the door. Frees up so much space inside. LED lighting is nice, and also frees up space (old refrigerator had 2 light bulbs with covers that took up space inside).

I enjoy it so much. One tiny thing I would recommend they change is the water dispenser. Need a space for a cup.

This fridge was a great addition for the new remodeled kitchen. Its stylish design gives it a more luxurious look. Love that it has comfortable shelves, lighting and perfect cooling. LG for the win

Our 17 year old refrigerator gave out on us and my wife wanted to go with a four door french model. She likes the capacity and the color but is not interested in the wi-fi function. Havent had it very long but it is working excellently. Hopefully it will last for many years.

Everything is nice But ther is less adjustment in the shelves as our previous lg fridge And I did not realize at the time of purchase that the water and ice supply on the door use the same button witch I don't like you are constantly pushing buttons to Chang from ice to water
