LG 5000 BTU Window Air Conditioner

The AC works fine but it the fan is loud and the unit makes more noise than expected when it is cooling.The installation into the window could be improved by having wider extensions on the side of the unit and having larger/longer tabs so the screw used to secure it are not so close to the bottom...

I bought this about a month ago in a rush to find something. It’s good for what it is. The complaints I have is there are two buttons on/off and high/low and then the turn knob for how high you want it. With the designs being very simple you can’t really do much with it.

I bought this to cool my sewing room which gets a lot of afternoon sun. It's quick to cool my room down and I am able to turn my fan to the low speed after a short time of starting the air conditioner. I don't run it 24/7 because I am not in my sewing room that long.

I bought this ac like a year ago or less and everything was working nice no noise, and fast cooling until it stop cooling. The fan runs very well but the ac compressor it stop working. I'm so disappointed with this product.

We got this window unit for a smaller bedroom and it works beautifully as both a air conditioner and when we just want the fan on. The controls are very simple and easy to use, which is becoming a rarity in appliances these days. Light enough for one senior to install easily.

I bought a nice little perky window AC unit from LG. and it is an incredible machine. Cools off a 300 sq ft bedroom in minutes !!

Bought two because the cost was excellent...and doubt that I will ever need the second one.The unit works splendidly in a room on the edge of its listed performance range in one of the hottest summers on record.

I've now put 5 of these into service amongst various family members this season. We are all impressed for such a small unit. Cycles on and off just fine, working in roughly 100-150 sq foot rooms.

I’ve this ac for roughly 2 years. After it rained and the rain stopped, I turned the ac back on and it started spitting water Not much water. I installed in correctly but I’m thinking maybe the drain is clogged. Is there anyway to drain the water out of pan?

It only worked for 1 month and I have been waiting for service for weeks!
