Overall, I?d rate this product 5 stars for use, stability, weight, and quality. However, after 18 month of pretty light use, more than half inside, the legs started to jam then fall out of the tubes. Very disappointing. I can?
I finally got tired of lugging my 3221W on trips and broke down and bought a true travel tripod. This is a great little tripod and works great with my 486RC2 ball head. I've now had it for 18 months and like all my other Manfrotto tripods, it works like just the day I bought it.
Love Manfrotto, and this replaces one I've been carrying for probably 20 years. Much lighter, of course, quicker set-up, of course. Will probably use this one for another 20.
Manfrotto is my favorite tripod. It is solid as long as the top stabilizer isn't fully open. It has a nice weight hook.
This tripod is top quality. I was surprised to find a 3/16 threaded hole to attach any accessory you might have like an articulated arm. Best tripod I ever owned
A little on the heavy side for a travel tripod, but is also small and sturdy. I also have a Manfrotto 055cxpro for when I need heavy duty, but this is great for traveling a little lighter. I'm very satisfied with this product
this tripod is better than i expect... very good product... yes i recommand
This is my first good tri-pod. I like how it goes into a 190 angle for macro or odd angled shots. This tripod is heavy, but good & steady, no movement at all.
Coming from a big and heavy tripod to this is a dream come true. I actually use this for video purposes because I knew it'd be a great pair with my Manfrotto 502HD Pro Video Head. I am very pleased with the results I get from this tripod and that head.
Love the horizontal pivot arm for macro photography. Great tripod.
