In the camera/lens section I have a (1) Canon DSLR with a 24-70 lens, (2) a 100mm Macro, (3) a 70-300 lens, and (4) two filters - and it fits perfectly! The fact that the camera/lens pouch pivots out makes using it very, very easy. In addition, my 15 laptop fits perfectly in the laptop section.
I've been looking to upgrade from my old Kata bag which has served me well for years. Manfrotto was the obvious choice considering the history between the two companies. I travel frequently so needed a bag that can carry all of my important gear in a small comfortable footprint.
It is a relatively light backpack which fits a mid-sized camera like OMD-M5 II, with 3 pro lenses and various small acessories in the lower compartment. The padding of lower compartment is reasonable, but you do not want to drop it with gear in it. It can also fit a 12-14 in laptop.
This day pack fit the following needs: separate padded space for camera, large enough for a full-size DSLR with a 24-70 lens; easy to reach; separate space for lunch/jacket; pouch for cards, battery, ipad/laptop; comfortable; robust; comfortable to wear all day.
I was after a backpack that is a travel backpack. I wanted half a section for my camera that is easily accessible and a section that I could put various camera things in such as filters as well as fit some shopping, jumper etc..
Taking out on afternoon photography walks. More secure tripod storage. One strap doesn't stop tripod from swinging about when walking briskly

Easier access to lens storage
This is a slightly unusual photographic backpack in that the camera space is significantly less than the alternative space (for your personal stuff). It suits me fine as I only take a mirrorless and a couple of lenses. It is well made, robust, affordable and light.
