We've had a 10x25 Travelite fro years, and the 12x25 is better. It's light and compact, yet has good brightness in low light. the case fits well and seals it so cleaning the lenses isn't need even when we're out on our UTV checking the cattle. It also make reading the ear tag numbers easy.
I bought the first pair for my older mother, she wanted a pair of light weight binoculars for bird watching at her bird feeder. Before I gave them to her I tried them and was so impressed that I bought three more pairs, for my two siblings and a pair for myself.
Getting into a hobby of bird photographe . Watching the target through the camera eye piece with a heavy lense was no fun . Nikon 12 25 binoculars are very light in weight and good to track birds at a comfortable range . My lense for clicking photo is 200mm - 500 mm Nikon .
Price was right, size was right, and the 12 x was spot on. Can watch birds and nature right from my window or anywhere with great clarity and convenience.
Nice case but only 2 lens covers for the eye pieces. We bought this to take to Alaska with us...small compact and I've always had Nikon lens and cameras so we had confidence that it would do the job. Exactly what we expected except only 2 separate lens covers for only the eye pieces. I hate that.
Excellent value for money, sharp concise image, small enough to fit in any back pack or suitcase.
These replaced a 20-year-old pair of Nikon 10x25 Travelite binoculars. I use them for any general need from viewing wildlife to a baseball game to an airshow. Despite the greater magnification, they actually seem brighter than my old 10x pair.
I work in sports production as a producer. An important part of our my job is to have the tools available for my talent to be able to get up close to the action. These Nikon Binoculars fit the bill. In face I have 3 pairs so that talent and stats can follow the action.
I've had a Travelite III for over 20 years. It's been a champ and is still going strong. Just needed another pair and decided to go to 12x25. Wow! The extra mag is not overpowering but brings objects so much closer than the 8x or 10x of my other Nikon. Easy focus, too.
product for travel and watch sport. Every thing good.
