The Nikkor Z 24-200mm F4-6.3 VR is built well, covers a wide range of angles, and nets sharp photos. It isn't a low-light wonder, but it's still a superzoom lens worth buying.

Big coverage range, Full-frame compatibility, Sharp results, Dust, splash, and anti-smudge fluorine, Stabilized optics

A little slow to focus, Narrow aperture limits low-light use, Sensitive control ring isn't that useful
The Nikon Nikkor Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR is a complex lens in terms of construction and also in terms of performance. However, there's no doubt that as a general-purpose travel zoom it could be just so useful that any disadvantages become far outweighed.

While the Nikkor Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR isn’t particularly fast at longer focal lengths, it’s an impressive lens for its type. And while it may not please perfectionists, it’s a good match for the Nikon Z5 camera and caters very well for travellers and family photographers who want a single lens that...
I Have a 70-200 VR F lens with the adapter and its very sharp but heavy, I got this lens about 2 months later and its a very good lense. Sharp and clear, I use it for shooting my Grandkids and odd and ends it does all I need, for now its the best I can use since I no longer shoot for money.
Nikkor Z 24-200mm is excellent. Amazing sharpness with such a long reach. Amazing price too. Precision Camera’s support is great too.
I do a lot of traveling and this is the perfect lens for just about any kind of photography you do. I am a retired photojournalist and this is a lens I can carry and use all day. I have a couple of fast prime lenses to supplement in low light situations, but my Z7 works great in low light, so I am...
This is an ideal "do-everything" lens for walk-around or travel when I don't want to take a big bag full of gear. It's sharp, well balanced, and easy to use. Comparing my Z6 with this 24-200 to a micro-four-thirds Olympus E-M1 with the equivalent 12-100 lens is revealing: The two kits are almost...
Best all purpose lens Nikon ever made. Great range, light and super sharp, and great weather proofing. Pushing the iso up to get better low light performance will get easier as the modern sensors continue to improve and their dynamic range increases. I can't wait for the 200-600 to be available.
My photography consists mainly of portraits, travel, food, landscape, nature, and street, and I wanted one lens that I could use for all of these. It's particularly helpful for me when I do travel photography, eliminating the need to carry several lenses. I'm very pleased with the Z 24-200mm.
Great all around lens. Also very good for video
Reviewing as an amateur; overall this is a good all-rounder; solid feel, really light compared to the f-mount equivalent, zoom ring feels very smooth, and image quality ok (Bokeh good for the lens type, no obvious aberrations at full zoom.
This lens utilises all of the stability features of the Z cameras and accordingly is a joy to use at the full range of shutter speeds. Images produced are sharp and crisp right across the image area. The lens is lightweight and small in length, only some 5 inches / 125mm from the camera body.
Great all around travel lens. Hits the mark on range, if only a bit brighter for indoors would be perfect.
