The Nikon Z 28-75mm f2.8 is a valuable addition to Nikon's Z-Mount line-up, that’s wisely pitched between their entry-level Z 24-70mm f4 S kit zoom and the high-end Z 24-70mm f2.8 S.

At first glance, the Nikon Z 28-75mm f/2.8 lens seems a bit out of place. Nikon already has a 24-70mm f/2.8 S for their mirrorless system, and it’s one of the best lenses we’ve ever tested. Why would Nikon release another f/2.8 zoom with such a similar focal length range?

There’s a lot to be said for a versatile everyday lens, and with this optic, Nikon gives us something that ticks a lot of the requisite boxes. The focal length is suitable for a good range of subjects, the design, weight and size is ideal for travel, the aperture is large and the price is relatively...

This is an awesome lens! I own a 24-70 f/4 S line lens that is my go to for events, but I wanted a Nikon native affordable faster zoom lens for portraits. I’m glad that I purchased the 28-75 f/2.8 lens when it was on sale. It has beautiful bokeh and the colors are beautiful. It’s also very sharp.

I bought this lens recently and used it for a wedding. I owned f4 lens, wanted to capture low light scenes. The f2.8 lens works well in all the conditions except, it doesn't focus at times. I observed it in videos also, at times - it loses the focus.

A great leans for half the price. I used inside for a volleyball game and the images were flawless. I highly recommend this lens.

I have not read to many reviews about this lens other than it is a "knock-off" of an earlier version Tamron lens and I really don't know anything about that. But what I do know is that the Nikkor Z 28-75 has really been a joy to work with.

This lens gives very clean and sharp images with the Nikon colors. The only thing is that it's not an "S Line" lens, so you do notice a SLIGHT difference in handling and build quality.
