The G100 is designed to be a camera for vloggers and content creators but its severe crop in video (especially if you want stabilization) and its inconsistent AF undermine it for that task.

Vlogging, if you need 4K or stabilization
The Panasonic LUMIX G100 is good for vlogging. It's small and lightweight, so it's easy to take on the go. It also has a fully articulated screen so you can easily monitor yourself as you record. The video quality is good overall, but especially in brighter lighting conditions.

Fantastic video quality in brighter lighting conditions., Small, lightweight design., Fully articulated screen.

Autofocus struggles to track moving faces., Poor stabilization.
The Lumix G100 is one of the most compact mirrorless cameras around, but packs a decent feature-set with a built-in viewfinder, fully-articulated side-hinged screen, external mic input and a clever built-in three-mic system.
The Panasonic Lumix G100 is designed as an entry-level vlogging camera and it fits that bill very well. It has a bigger sensor than competing compact cameras like the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III and Sony ZV-1 and benefits from accepting interchangeable lenses, which makes it a bit more versatile.

Crop in 4K mode
I’m usually wary of cameras targeting vloggers. Cameras in this class are often dumbed down and made by cutting as many corners as possible to keep the price low. The results are typically disappointing.

Impressive photo and video, Advanced audio-recording, EVF and flexible LCD screen

No headphone input, No USB-C port, Video maxes out at 4K/30p
Despite being designed as the "perfect vloggers" camera, we were more impressed by the camera's still photo ability. It consistently produced images that look great, with good detail, accurate focus, and great colour.

Great photo quality with excellent colour, Large, high-resolution electronic viewfinder, High-quality, high-resolution touch-screen, Compact camera with good handling, Easy to use menu system

Audio quality sounds processed, Crop on video, increases massively with electronic stabilisation, Video quality isn't great, and focus often hunts, Short-ish battery life, MicroUSB connection
Panasonic’s entry-level vlogger-cam leaves room for improvement

Lots of great video features, Decent built-in microphones, Small and lightweight

4K crop too tight for vlogging, Micro USB rather than USB-C, Viewfinder seems unnecessary
Pros: (1) RAW shooting (2) Capable for photography (3) Quick Autofocus and Decent Tracking (4) Top Center High Resolution EVF (5) Built In Flash (6) Touch Screen (7) Very Small & Light (8) Micro HDMI port (9) 3.5mm Microphone Input Jack (10) Responsive Menu & Controls (11) Included 12-32mm ...
I've seen lots of negative reviews for G100 as a vlog camera, here are my points why it might be a good camera for street photography: 1. Lightweight: 340g is not heavy at all, compared to other M43 cameras 2. EVF: from the Spec it looks better than the one on GX7/GX85/GX9 3.
I bought this camera for my Christmas present. I bought it because it was on sale bundelled with two lenses and two batteries. I don't shoot video, nor do I take selfies. But, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. It has a sturdy feel and do like the flip and touch screen.
Good Points: It's a really fantastic quality build, small enough to be very easily transportable and the settings are relatively straightforward to use even for a beginner.Improvement Points: The length of video is limited (because the camera gets hot I believe), but other cameras in the same...
Compact and light weight, makes a good camera for taking while walking
INTRODUCTION Whilst not without its critics, the Lumix G100 could appeal to anyone keen to enter Panasonic’s world of Micro Four Thirds system cameras, especially he or she looking to keep things as compact and lightweight as possible without compromising on image quality.
I ordered the G100 with some trepidation, as the folks at DPreview TV gave it the distinction of ranking it the worst new camera of 2020. However, their needs are different than mine. I hardly ever shoot video.
…Panasonic have dropped the panorama mode, which is such a convenient feature on most other models! This is particularly disappointing, considering the price of the camera and the fact that the technology is there and is proven to work well. Not everyone wants to stitch images in post processing.
