I’ve long struggled to find a good use-case for 360-cameras – I’m not an “adventurer” nor do I feel compelled to share every detail of my life (kudos to you if that’s you), but the Ricoh Theta SC2 for Business has given me a little more clarity into more practical uses of the camera, focusing on the...
The RICOH Theta SC2 is one of the more impressive cameras we’ve reviewed lately. To begin with, the main attraction is the ability to capture 360-degree images without using your smartphone’s panoramic mode. But there’s a lot more to love.
It does not work with android system
For a social media and simple 360 captures this is a pretty decent Camera. However, when dealing with connectivity issues as well as the way the camera interacts with the phone app makes me wish I held out for something better.
I owned a One X2 for a couple days I had fun so I bought this after reading reviews knowing its inferior to the One X2 but .. I was not expecting to film grainy videos! Also, BE CAREFUL look at youtube 360 video filmed with SC2 you can see the camera at the bottom! Stitching is crappy! RETURNED!
I tried for hours and was never able to connect it to my iPhone. I cannot keep wasting my time with this device. Returning.
I just use it for my rental homes. Good quality compares to its price.
Great 360 camera for starters good quality images and easy to use
Fantastic, has paid for itself time and time again.
Very good camera
I used to have one Theta V which now cost much more than SD2. I have used SD2 for quite a few times now and am happy with it. Easy to use, similar quality compared to Thea V. The batter power level is also visible which is pretty good.
The tripod mount on the bottom works perfectly with a selfie stick that has an adjustable angle setting. With that set between 70 & 90 degrees, I can take wide-angle selfie videos on my e-scooter and e-bike.
