Returned this mic for the senheiser. It was well worth the extra $100. I just expected better pick up per subject distance and the senheiser was better.
Great trader. Great quality, really happy. The only thing I would say was the packaging could have been better as it was shipped all the way to New Zealand.
Great sound quality for an intro level mic. I had researched a lot of mics before landing on the NTG2, and I have to admit that I had absolutely no buyers remorse after testing it out.
Purchased this item to replace one we already had. Works great and enjoyed the bundle, instead of having to purchase the items separately. Would rather of had a longer cable as the one included is very short.
Love it so far. Picks up the voice cleaner and much more clear than than my old shotgun microphone. I do ENG breaking news in noisy environments, so it's important to get good sound and this mic does the job.
I'm immensely satisfied with this purchase. After pairing this with my C100 for a variety of shoots I have found the mic to be a dynamic addition to my documentary-style setup.I would highly recommend!

Great mic for interviews on the field and for picking some ambient sound (eg. street events, concerts, etc).
This is my first Rode mic (aside from the videomic) and I'm really happy with it so far. I'm using it in conjunction with the Tascam DR-40 for low-budget feature films. I have no complaints so far!Clear audio, low impedance. I'll be stepping up to NTG3 soon, but this is a great mic for the money.
Purchased this as a starter Boom Mic and so far really enjoy it.
