Before purchasing, I had used these lenses on the A7s II and loved them. The images were sharp and beautiful. However, they are very obviously not meant for the micro 4/3 sensor.

The most important thing you should consider when buying this lens is how close you are going to be to your subject. The focus ring has a huge travel distance (which is what I was after), but the VAST majority of that travel is for shooting things between 1' and 2.5' away from you.

First, I mainly use this lens on Sony bodies. I've used it on an a6300, an A7S II, and an FS5 using two FotodioX adapters (one that just passes it through, one with a built-in variable ND filter) and a Metabones Speed Booster.

I use this lens to shoot various projects including weddings and independent films. The image quality and clarity are fantastic and the manual focus is extremely smooth. Like all Rokinons that I've tried (except for 12mm T3.1 ED AS IF NCS UMC Cine DS Fisheye) it's a great lens, great construction, but poor optical performance at maximum aperture. Mine just become sharp at f/2.8!

Love this lens. Love the cine ds line. Its soft at T1.5 but at T2.0 its tack sharp. More sharpness than needed for 4k video.

With this lens is very easy to illuminate indoors.

My primary focus is "Motion Picture", I'm a retired pro still photographer. This lens intrigued me so I ordered one. I chose Nikon mount as the most adaptable, 24mm as a "normal" focal length for Micro Four Thirds and I can always adapt it to Canon if I go back to that brand camera.

Great Lens for the price... the only cons that rokinon lenses has, are the hoods, which are a bit lose, it doesnt lock outstanding.. i have 4 rokinon lenses, and all has the same "problem".. but it is not a big deal.. overal is a really great product.
