At £50 more than the QVO yet sporting almost identical specification, you’d be hard pushed at first to see the benefit of the EVO drive. The different comes with the internal workings that see a V-NAND 3-bit rather than 4-bit MLC (Multi-Level Cell).

Samsung has another winner on its hands with this 870EVO. There literally isn't anything negative for me to write about this drive. It performs as it should for a very reasonable price. Also, Samsung supports these drives by providing replacement services directly to the customer if they are needed.

Great products, super fast, super reliable and quiet!

I think this was my fourth samsung 870 I’ve purchased and installed. Never had an issue with them. I’m sure there are less expensive alternatives but I prefer known reliability. Great upgrade for aging laptops, quick and easy swap with the Samsung data migration software and a basic usb to sata...

This was easy to install. The Samsung software made it very easy to move all of my programs and files from the existing hard drive to the new drive. I was considering purchasing a new computer but upgrading to the Samsung solid state drive eliminated that need. It made my old Lenovo snappy again.

The SSD is as it should be, no news there. Have several Samsung SSD and all are are good. Recently replaced my THIRD faulty regular Hard Drive with this SSD Internal Hard Drive. I cloned my original drive, all went very smoothly, and I certainly like the increase in start up time, only around 25 seconds, much improvement on up to two minutes with the old drives.
