This is a nice lens to use for video because it has gears for a follow focus (and for the declicked aperture). But since the hood is not removable and the lens is so wide, I can't use it in my Redrock matte box.
I own a Blackmagic Cinema Camera and I was looking for a good wide angle lens. This lens is the perfect match for this camera to establish great long shots.
