The bokeh that this Rokinon produces is outstanding. This is a wonderful lens with surprisingly good quality, considering the price. Feels like a fine Swiss watch. Only negative is that it is slightly on the heavy side.
This is a photo taken with the lens of my other lens. Build quality is very high. Optical quality is almost as good as my 35mm Canon L lens. Wide open some fringing occurs but nothing horrible.
Great cine lens for video production at a fraction of costs compared to Zeiss lens. I love the manual iris and smoth focus operation on my sony fs7 camera. It's on the heavier side but solid build. For the costs I highly recommend. I use it for commercial and music videos.
Great lens for videography! Whatever is in focus is in focus, and everything else is blurred out, as expected from a cinema lens. The thing to keep in mind is that if you're doing moving shots, if you don't keep focus manually, the subject will go out of focus really quickly.
I love this lens. The de-clicked aperture gives me incredible creative freedom, and allows me to change things quickly and smoothly in video. This lens is a game changer for sure.
This has become my main lens. I'm very happy with the image quality, and It's the best lens I own for low light. I am looking forward to purchasing more of the Cine DS series.
I've been using old Nikon Nikkor lenses via my Metebones Spedbooster on my GH4 for a couple of years. The step up to this lens was very noticeable in clarity and sharpness. Images and video look great. Feels well made, smooth operation.
I'm in love with these Rokinon lenses. This one is easily my favorite for the frame size and speed of this lens. Seriously have an addiction for these things. Got the 16mm 24mm 50mm and 85mm. Beautiful bokeh and background blur super worth the price.
I can't buy a better camera for my video/photograph project. That's why I choose to get a new lens for my d3200,its cheaper than buying a new camera. I've been looking for a while and finally decide to buy this rokinon 35mm cine lens.
This is a well made and smooth operating lens. One thing to note about these lenses is that the infinity focus is at the L shaped symbol on the lens just before the lens stop. If you turn the focus ring all the way to the lens stop, it is focused past infinity which will be a little out of focus.
