While Samsung's SSD 850 Pro turned in superb results when we reviewed it in late June, we couldn't quite crown

The Extreme PRO only goes down to 240GB, but it tops our chart as the fastest consumer SSD you can buy today. Check out Chris' full review of this new SSD.
Looking at overall capacity for the 240GB, 480GB and 960GB SanDisk Extreme PRO drives (1GB byte = 1,000,000,000 bytes) the capacity accessible to the end user as reported by Windows comes out to be 223GiB, 447GiB and 894Gib (1Gib = 1,073,741,824 bytes) respectively.
What is the difference between those who have hope, and those who have no hope? The way I see it, those who have hope are people who have something to look forward to on some day, and that day will come, whenever it comes.
The 960GB model demands a premium price, but the 480GB Extreme PRO SSD delivers the same performance at a lower price. Follow on for our full review.
The Extreme Pro offers great performance and endurance, with a long 10-year warranty to back it up. It's reasonably affordable too.

No power-loss protection or encryption, Slightly lower IOPS than class-leading drives, High-capacity SSDs remain a pricey prospect
Extreme Pro SSD: The Extreme Pro is a fast SSD, but its small file performance could be better
The Sandisk range of SSDs were one of the first we reviewed that provided a big leap in the capacity/price sector that was holding SSDs back from becoming a part of everyone's rig.

The Pro's of getting this SSD is, its the better bang for your buck if you're on a budget. Looking at Tom's hardware information about the difference SSDs out there. This ranked second below Samsung as it has a slightly slower read and write speed, but ranked higher in terms of pricing.

Con's would be is that its a shame that most HDDs, or SSDS, or any time of storage device doesn't give you the full ammount regardless. I had only 894 gigs out of 960.
I bought 3 of these and have had no issues with them. Drive is fast and reliable
