We recently bought a new home where the microwave is under the counter. The location is very difficult to read the settings on the microwave and quite frankly a pain in the neck to use. We attended an open house and saw a drawer microwave and we instantly fell in love and replaced ours.

We were skeptical about a drawer microwave, but this one is smart, sleek and convenient in our kitchen island. Its "reheat" sensor is the best I've every used and it heats evenly. The space-age drawer function works perfectly in our island, freeing up the counter space.

I am a kitchen designer and I love this microwave. Takes some getting used to loading and unloading, but functions perfectly and I find it easier to clean than other models. It blends in with my kitchen design. In my opinion its the best base microwave cabinet on the market and I've seen them all.
