Excellent microphone for the price. There is a place in town where I practice music and there are SM 58s there as well. So I decided to test out the PG58 and an SM 58 and they sound identical. The only difference is the SM 58 is made like a tank, but if you take care of the PG 58 you'll be fine.
Surprising sound out of a relatively inexpensive head, which is exchangeable with a seemingly inexhaustible list of options. The transmitter has great range and batteries will last through most gig lengths. The compact size of the receiver allows for its placement at many small-space locations.
Great Range, Easy set-up
This microphonee package, with all of these extras, is an excellent value for the money.

The Shure PGX24-PG58 is a wireless handheld vocal mic system that delivers a great and reliable sound. We used to have four Tellex wireless mic systems in our set up but we always faced some troubles with those. We specially experienced cross-talk issues and much distortion.
Just what the doctor ordered! This handheld system in conjunction with our ip2000 and other wireless is a real winner. This works beautifully on our Lectern with no feedback and is crystal clear - end to end. Thank you Shure and Sweetwater!
This is a long time wireless standard mic that fits the bill perfectly.
I love this wireless system. Used it right out of the box on a gig with two other wireless systems. No interference or drop outs. Plus no annoying squelch. Sound quality very clear. Highly recommend this system.
We bought four of these mics and hooked them right up to our Behringer system. They worked perfectly. My quartet loves them.
The price is reasonable to afford. Sounds good and it's not heavy. I'm happy with it.
The Microphone pictured is a "Beta" or a "Blue" and it does NOT match what they are actually selling. SHADY AS HELL.
