updated comments: The bare 150-600mm lens alone is good but the combo of the lens and the teleconvereter has AF focal problem. Even so I did the maximum AF microadjustment both at the lens and my Canon 5D4, there still is serious back focus problem at 840mm focal length and long distance.

Used the Sigma 1.4x teleconverter with the Sigma 15-600 Sport with excellent results. I saw no noticeable degradation in sharpness. Excellent combination for extra reach for wildlife photophagraphy.

I use this teleconverter with my Sigma 150-600mm C lens. I don't notice much if any loss in image quality when using this teleconverter. It is made very well and feels very solid when you hold it in your hand. My D800 can auto focus at 840mm (600mm as marked on the lens) about half the time.

works great ! sometimes autofocus struggles, but I just switch to manual focus. I've been using it with nikon d5300 and sigma 150-600 contemporary lens, making it equivalent focal lenght of 1260 mm zoomed in. I've been using it hand held in sunlight successfully.

Using this with a Sigma 500 F4 and it is great. Optically I see zero degradation of image quality. Better than I expected in every way. Not sure how it will behave on a slower lens (i.e - 150-600 zoom) since autofocus will come into play with many camera bodies.

Wow! Really extends the reach of the Sigma 150-600 Contempory lens, 600mm up to 840mm. On my D500 crop sensor camera that's the equivalent of 1260mm! Very compact and easy to put on and remove.

Gives me the extra reach I needed for wildlife shots. The autofocus works at f8 and higher with good clarity on my Sigma 150-600mm. I highly recommend it.

I bought this to use with the Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 Sports DG APO OS HSM Lens for Canon. I already own the Canon teleconverters but found that they don't seem to perform reliably with this lens. I have been blown away by the quality of the images using the Sigma TC-1401... they are fantastic.

I purchased this TC to go with my Sigma 150-600mm Sport. The D810 will auto focus between f/7.1 and f/9, depending on which focal length the lens is set at. I've had it out a couple of time so far, IMHO, image quality is very good to excellent.

One of the best tele converters I have used. I would even go as far as saying that this newer Sigma 1.4x Teleconverter TC-1401 works even better on the Sigma 150-600 Sport compared to what the Nikon TC 1.4x does on the Nikkor tele zoom lenses.
