The Sony A6600 is the follow-up to the A6500, and is now the premium camera in the company’s range of rangefinder-style, mirrorless interchangeable-lens models that feature an APS-C sensor .

Had it for a few weeks now and have used for a few portraits, landscape and birds of prey. My main concerns were AF and handling. I come from Nikon D7200 and D500. Takes a bit of getting used to a very small camera compared to what I'm used to. My back button focus is working fine now.

Incredible camera that takes any photo to the next level! My fiance and I are new to learning photography/videography, but this camera is super simple to use and produces amazing shots. Make sure you talk to camera-savvy friends to choose the right lens.

From DSLR to Mirrorless has been a complete change. Full frame to APS-C was another hard discussion that took serval weeks to pull the trigger.The Sony a6600 and the APS-C lenses are what I chose and I couldn't be happier.

I'm new to photography but this camera has been a joy. So light and easy to travel with it and yet it packs a mean punch. Again, as a beginner, I appreciate the image stabilization abilities.
