Great for shot composition and focus. Lightweight and the hood is perfectly integrated into the monitor. Not a great monitor for color accuracy, but you knew that. :)

I’m using this monitor with my Sony a6500 and love it. Good visibility in bright light. I use the cameras LCD monitor for histogram and other tech info leaving the big external monitor for a nice clean picture of what I’m shooting. I also like that it can use the same batteries as my camera.

This monitor works perfectly with all of my Nikon DSLRs. Everything from photography to videography. Super clean display and the option to adjust setting via the monitor. Comes with everything you need to get started, EXCEPT for the battery and battery charger.

Works seamlessly on my a7rii and a6300. Nice and sharp. Used it in broad daylight with the shade. The Sony name has a price premium but I'm happy with it

It's sharp and I like the built in shade. It's a bit over priced but I'm satisfied with it

If you own a Sony camera, you will love this one (make your screen bigger). I take 1 star off because there is no AC adapter included.

Limited functions. No crop lines, no zebra, no nothing! With this price it'd better getting Smallhd focus!

I paid $698 for 4 dead pixels scattered in random parts of the display? I'm really upset.

It serves its purpose quite well and easy. Should you be a manual focusing video shooter, this device is inevitable for any Sony a7... camera. I did not check other manufacturers’ similar devices, either their pricing, all I can say that this device is perfect for what it was designed for.
