The Sony battery is the standard. Replacing the originals after a few years of constant use (nearly daily basis). You're paying more, but you're gettng reliability.

Yes, these are more expensive than the old NP-FW50 batteries, but they last sooooo much longer, so you need 1 of these for every 4 of the old ones. I typically shoot ~2 hours of 4k video on one charge, and Ive managed to squeeze 1100 photos out of a single charge!
They had what I needed and it was a great purchase.
Sony brand batteries are expensive, but seem to be stronger than off-brand.
With my old Sony a7 II, I'd go through a couple of batteries during a heavy day of shooting. I'm using the NP-FZ100s with the new Sony a7 III and can easily get a full day of shooting stills and video with just one battery.
Great battery and no problems! Always good to buy Sony batteries with Sony cameras. Never had any luck with off brand working all that well.
i bought this battery so i have two of them for work, and it seems to be enough. I would have a third one just in case it's a long workday, but it should be ok to charge the first one as you use the second and keep going.
Great battery wonderful long battery life for all day shooting.
This battery can last all day and then some. I shoot both 4K 30P at 100Mbs, plus a few hundred RAW stills on my A7RIII and this battery can last a day and half before needing a recharge.
I recently went on a three day vacation. I carried a backup or extra Sony battery. I could have shot all three days off of one charge. This new battery greatly improves the life of the earlier, smaller battery.
