I have two stock answers whenever someone asks me which earbuds to buy. The first answers the question with another question: Who made your phone? Like flagship smartphones, fully wireless earbuds are pretty good across the board — and the category managed to get there in record time.

I owned every single sony wireless earbud.And i have the same problem with all of them. I couldn't track the earbud when it is closed. Samsung lets you track the earbud why not sony give the same capability to track the earbud when the case is closed or when the ear buds are misplaced somewhere.

Not worth it - previous model (WF-1000XM4) has MUCH better sound isolation and sound in general. I understand that Sony tried to make them smaller than previous models and yes, they are smaller and look less bulky - well unfortunately sound and sound isolation was affected by it.

Overall great. Noise cancellation soso. But I like how the earphone is able to detect which device to receive from. It is seamless.

these are by far the best earbuds I have ever tried, I fell in love with my previous 1000xm4s and these are by far amazing, the battery life is incredible and so is the noise cancelling, I also love the new sound pressure system from the wf1000xm5 headphones being brought to these.

I upgraded from the Sony WF-1000XM3 to the Sony WF-1000XM5. Boy, what a difference. I could never wear the XM3's for longer than 1.5 to 2 hours before I had to remove them. Well with the XM5's, I have even forgotten that I had them in. I have worn these for up to 4 hours with absolutely no issues.

Excellent sounding buds and work great indoors.However when you to try to have a conversation outside in moderate to loud environments the person on the other end cannot hear you as the noise on the other end drowns out your voice. It's so bad that I have to turn off the earphones and use my phone.

While I normally suggest wearing wired headphones but the best listening experence these are really good... like REALLY REALLY GOOD! I use earbuds when riding on my scooter with an extremly loud muffer and this NC can kill the that sound. Its amazing and unexpected.

Overall not bad. Just that the ear bud design slightly not friendly to peoples that have big fingers. Easily slip off while taking out from the case and removing from the ears.

I had the WF-100XM4 headphones before these and absolutely loved them. Best ANC I have found on a headset. These sound just as good although I find the new shape and size to be difficult in handling. I drop/fumble with these a lot more than my older ones.

I bought this item 3 days ago and I can’t get over how comfortable they are as well as sounding amazing! I found AirPods would begin to hurt after a couple hours. I can use these all day and have no issues. I have had no issues with connecting to my iPhone and I wish I had found these earlier!!
