The cons list includes some important flaws but it would be difficult to expect a lot from a roof prism 42 mm set of binoculars costing just about 100 USD. We must admit in this price segment the Vortex Crossfire undoubtedly deals the cards.

solid casing,, low coma,, slight astigmatism,, good quality BaK-4 prisms,, good quality antireflection coatings,, sharp image already from 1.15 metres,, negligible flares,, good blackening inside the inner tubes,, such good warranty conditions are a real phenomenon in this class of equipment.

loud clicking by individual focusing,, dirt inside one tube,, low sharpness at the edge of the field,, objective lenses are closer to 41 mm than to 42,, real field of view distinctly narrower than in the specifications.
Brilliant, these are the best binoculars I have ever had. The prisms give the view brightness and clarity...you can see even better than close to with the naked eye Will buy another pair and we have to share these at the moment! Mainly used for bird watching.
These binoculars were an excellent choice for my wife. I have a pair of Swaovski binoculars and these are excellent value in comparison to the price difference. They are light and easy to use and i would recommend the if you cannot afford the high priced alteratives

The old saying is generally correct however not so in this case! I already own a pair of steiner hunter binoculars which are great but heavy and having a Vortex rifle scope with great glass thought I'd give these a try; I'm not dissapointed.
