Vortex 8x32 Diamondback HD Binocular

The Vortex Diamondback HD series was launched in the middle of 2019. At that time it consisted of as many as eight models with following parameters: 8x28, 10x28, 8x32, 10x32, 8x42, 10x42, 10x50 and 12x50. In 2020 another pair of binoculars, the 15x56, was added to that line-up.

I bought these to take when I travel on a non birding trip. I thought the 10x25 would just be to difficult to get on a bird quickly and too dark as the light fades.The Vortex 8x32 are larger but are useable at dusk and focus easily.They will not replace the Vortex 8x42 that I normally use but for...

These were recommended to me by Simcah for my African safari and he was 100% correct. Perfect size and weight, but more importantly, very sharp. The detail was incredible. Dont let the price fool you, these are as good as higher priced brands.

Wanted something smaller and lighter for birding as I usually have my camera with me when I go out. My wife has an older pair of 8 x 42 Nikon Monarch 3's and I don't find the 32's let in any less light.
