After having friends and family getting into smoking ribs and briskets, I decided I wanted to get a smoker. I have had great experiences with Weber charcoal and gas grills so I knew I had get a Weber charcoal smoker. I have not been disappointed.

I cook Bar-B-Que on my smoker and nothing adds flavor like this Weber. If used right it dosen't burn your food. Great way to slow cook and add flavor. Very well made as always with Weber products. Needs handles on the middle section.

Excellent at retaining heat during several hours of smoking. Easy to adjust temp by opening and closing vents. Easy to clean and put together and provides good rack space for multiple items at once. Negatives would be that vents sometimes get very sticky during cooking and can be difficult to move.

I bought this recently and am enjoying learning the basics of smoking. My most recent conquest was a 12 pound turkey and it was amazing! This smoker is easy to use and you can cook a lot at one time on the two racks. The door is a little flimsy and think it would be better if it was on a hinge.

So glad I bought the Weber Smoky Mountain. I was a little apprehensive about how it would perform because I’m used to a vertical propane smoker. It’s on a whole different level with how it holds in heat and gets consistent smoke. The bark on my pork butts and briskets are much more impressive now.

Being new to using a smoker, I did a good bit of research and kept coming back to this Weber model as a good "bang for my buck." At this time, I've only used it once but it really was simple to use and had fantastic results. I can't wait to dedicate more time to using the smoker this summer.
