Whirlpool 1.7 cu. ft. White Microwave Hood Combination with Electronic Touch Controls

The Whirlpool WMH31017AD offers a modern appearance, large capacity, and good amount of power for a reasonable price. This over-the-range microwave has a 1.7 cubic foot capacity and offers 1000 watts of power on high.

It's a simple microwave, nothing fancy or high-tech but does its job. The handle is curved and a bit broad. The glass turn table inside is smaller than most I've seen for similar or smaller size microwaves. Buying through BJs was a great experience!

Let me start off by saying that the microwave does a good job of heating up food.I find some of it's operating features to be annoying or confusing. So often I try to heat up something and I press the time and the "start arrow" and the appliance stutters and says "door". The door is firmly closed.

This is a great looking microwave, and reasonable priced for stainless steel and what you get. Installing the vent was a little difficult, as the mounting hardware was different than my existing microwave, but other than that everything fit perfectly and the hardware included was above average.

The new microwave over the range works great. Love the way it is designed. It even fit the old bracket on the wall of the past unit. With my neighbors help, it went right into place and was ready to use.

We had the previous Whirlpool microwave for ten years before it began having problems. This one was purchased for the name value and demonstrable efficiency.

It took me and hour and a half to find the start button and one and a half days to figure out where the cancel, or stop button was! Label the darned buttons instead of putting "+30seconds", and "Control Lock" in their place!

This was a beautiful design that went with my other Maytag appliances. I use it often for thawing foods, warming leftovers and refreshing breads.

The microwave does a good job. The hood is not very useful. Steam builds up on the front and then drips down. I would like for the hood to actually pull the steam away from the stovetop. The hood is also very noisy when in use. It is hard to hear anything else that is going on while in use.

This microwave is not only gorgeous but it works so well and was very easy to install!

I bought this microwave November 2015 and it had worked fine until this week. The light wasn't coming on when I opened the door to remove food but I thought "Oh, well, it may be that the bulb burned out".
