Whirlpool 30" 18.5 cu. ft. Black Bottom Freezer Refrigerator - Energy Star

I bought my new Whirlpool refrigerator to replace an almost identical Amana one that I had for 16 years because the compressor on my old fridge went out. While I'm happy with the new refrigerator, I was disappointed that its stainless steel finish is not as nice as the one on the old model.

I am very pleased with the performance of the refrigerator and the looks, however I wish Whirlpool had not put the bar down the middle of the freezer. I had a bottom freezer before without a bar and I felt like I could get more items into the freezer.

I bought this item because it had a bottom freezer drawer. This replaced a 4 year old Whirlpool that had a bottom freezer door. It was killing my back to get things out of the freezer. Therefore, I decided to replace it with a bottom freezer drawer. Best decision I made. Love the convenience.

I'm somewhat happy with the purchase. It looks good. I can't complain about how it works. My biggest complaint is that it is extremely noisy. The crisper shelves are nice looking, but you have to be careful when you pull them out as there doesn't appear to be anything from preventing them from...

I wanted to get an appliance that was made in the USA. Most of my appliances are made by Whirlpool, which makes an excellent product. Because I have a cabinet that restricted my height, ABT was able to get me the product I loved in the height I needed.

I bought this recently, and I am glad I did. It is quiet. I love the shelving and how easy it is to keep things organized in the refrigerator section. I love my new refrigerator. Even though it is technically smaller than my old refrigerator, it feels much roomier inside. I love the freezer which is definitely roomier. I wish it had an automatic door closer but overall I’m very pleased!

Have had our new refrigerator for two weeks - and it exceeds all of our expectations. Love the bottom freezer and the size of the ice cubes from the ice maker. Main refrigerator allows for any configuration that works best for us. Runs quietly and the finish has just the right level of "gloss."
