Affordable, counter depth fridges are hard to come by.
Scratches easily. Stainless steel smudges easily and difficult to clean w/o streaking. Needs more shelves. Stainless steel is not the same as other whirlpool appliances even though they say it is.

This is our first side by side. It has taken some getting used to but overall we are pleased. It does fit all our food and still leaves room for more! We opted for the stainless steel so I constantly am cleaning up fingerprints.

Bought this Whirlpool refrigerator in early 2016 when we bought a new home and thought it was the perfect model. When a family illness caused a need to move back East, closer to help with support we purchased a new home and bought this same appliance (and Whirlpool washer and dryer!
We purchased this unit through our home warranty after our previous refrigerator could not be repaired. We do not recommend this product to anyone. The ice maker is horrible. The water dispenses so slowly you would rather use tap water. The manufacturer needs to correct these issues immediately.
It is well Designed.
I bought this in July you do not put enough shelves in the refrigerator 3 shelves are not enough I called to order another shelf you want $82.00 for a shelf you should sell with the product it also streaks badly when I clean the front of the refrigerator
The best feature of my newly purchased Whirlpool counter depth side by side refrigerator is the fact I can open the refrigerator side and also use the water and ice on the freezer side. I have never been able to perform two tasks at one time with any other refrigerator.
Needed a repair after one month because it stopped cooling, it was difficult to set up the repair
Three weeks old and working great.
