Whirlpool 28 Inch Freestanding Top Freezer Refrigerator

I am a college student living in an apartment. The previous fridge was very small, and even though it was fairly new, it was very poor quality. So when we bought this fridge, it is just the right size for one or two people. It saves space in the apartment, but holds everything we need.

Needed a cheap, second refrigerator for watermelon, beer and soda, leftovers, vegetables that people give us from their gardens, etc. It's quiet, roomy and compact. Plastic in door and drawers looks a little flimsy, but no problems so far. Best of all, no icemaker to waste space in the freezer.

The whirlpool frig is quiet with steady temperature control. What I love the best are the recessed door handles. In my small kitchen, the absence if large protruding door handles matter. This frig is the same size as it's predecessor but looks far less obtrusive.

This refrigerator was purchased for an office area for employees to put lunches in. Our very old one was not self defrosting like this one. We needed the width to be 28" or less. Everyone likes it so far. It looks great and is working perfectly. Sale price was too good to pass up.

There's a small refrigerator niche in our kitchen, so we have to choose from the smaller models. However, this 28" Whirlpool seems to have much more storage space than the 20" GE it replaced. Love that feature.

This is a nice, compact and attractive refrigerator with features of a more expensive frig, like glass shelves. I purchased it to use in my basement as an auxilliary frig for beverages and food when entertaining. I have had it for about 2 months and am very pleased with it.

For a second refrigerator (in the garage) met the need perfectly. Needed a smaller unit and wanted spill proof shelf, did not need an ice maker. Good value to have a new refrigerator. Only had it for a few weeks but have not noticed the loud compressor noise in other reviews.

Our old fridge burnt out on us. This fridge was inexpensive and worked in a pinch to get another fridge fast. If you need a small fridge that is not expensive I highly recommend. We installed the ice maker ourselves and it works great.

Have had this one week and it is nearly empty, have no complaints, but it is a bit noisey, but then my house is empty, maybe once all my furniture arives I won't hear it so much.
