Freezer is wider than last model and seems to fit the same amount of items although it takes up less space. Quick freeze option sold this product. Too many times have I gone shopping and the ice cream is half melted by the time we get home. I just put it in the freezer and turn on the Quick Freeze.

The new freezer is so awesome. We've had our previous one for 33 years and it's been great, but every outdated. The options the new one offers make it a great addition to our appliances, i.e. auto freeze, alarm if attention is needed, to just name a few. We're in love with the new one.

So far, so good; compared this unit to a frigidaire unit of the same cu. ft. since we have had good luck with other frigidaire units and liked the controls on this better and ot is more compact while still the same amount of usable space. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I had pretty specific requirements when looking for a freezer. I wanted it to be as large as possible and most importantly, have an alert when it had been open for too long. I have had experiences of leaving the freezer door open and spoiling food so I really wanted to avoid that.

I have only had the freezer for a short period and what can you say about a freezer, it freezes. This freezer however is well designed with sensible shelf spacing and effective cold are flow design. I have to ask, though, what's with the butter compartment in the door. Nice touch but, huh!.

The inside configuration holds more than the Larger Frigidaire upright. Shelves are sturdy with excellent side support so the shelves do not sag.
